i went to sydney by plane this year! lol only 2 hr flight though ^_^ as if you showered on one! i cant even bring myself to stand! >.<"... oh! does that mean you got to take a photo with the crew and pilot?? i saw my pilot! he was young - and extremely tall...

oh! have you read/watched Death Note? i must say! its very good! i watched the japanese live film...the characters are iffy, but L was portrayed very well! you must watch it! pretty good storyline!

my city's ok... but the bigger cities like Sydney and Melbourne are supposedly wayyy better. but i'm biased ^_^v i like adelaide. we have trees!! just so you know, i'v got an obsessive compulsive disorder: SAVE THE TREES! so if you dont use the back page of every sheet of paper (except for essays and stuff), watch out buddy!
ahem, where was i? oh yes, adelaide's ok. yeah, we celebrate stuff, but if the big cities celebrate the same stuff, it's better if you go to theirs. we dont even have a grand stadium to host championships in T_T
i forgot you have snow during christmas...yes yes, it makes sense that you wouldnt have pageants...lol, last yea santa claus fainted on the float coz of the heat! it was in the mid-40s! this yea, its a bit cooler so he was lucky . omg, in year 7, i was part of the school ensemble and we had to dress up in costumes, parade through a shopping centre and then play carols =-="... i was an angel...urgh...with crooked wings.

sydney from adelaide? well, last yr we drove... (most horrible experience ever, i highly recommend NOT trying)...we left at 3am and arrived about 10pm the same day. of course, we had a lot of stops on the way coz it was a whole family thing. whole family as in 6 families all jammed into 4 cars (2 sport-ish and 2 4WDs ^_^v)... so yea...we were totally speeding too! about 10-20kph above speed limit!! lol, might i add that i'd discovered wat car-sickness was >.>"

are you serious?!? you dont have a christmas pageant? no! maybe you dont call it that! its like a parade where people dress up in christmas costumes and dance around floats, with the main attraction being santa and his float. its like welcoming santa to town...you dont have that? its pretty big here... well, not big-big but... its like a festival thing. lol, adelaide's known as the festival state (and other stuff as well)... so we celebrate lots of things!

Our xmas is in summer...always has been and always will so i guess its not 'strange' to me but seeing pictures relating xmas to snow does make me wish that it did snow here during xmas... its so pretty!

here, school goes for 4 terms, about 10 wks each and then we get an 6-8wk holiday to celebrate xmas and new yrs. in between the terms, we get a 2 wk break, so it isnt too bad.
